The Security Council will meet during the week of April 14-18 to take up the question of extending the mandate of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) in Sinai, it was learned here. The mandate expires April 24. Egypt has already formally notified Secretary General Kurt Waldheim and the president of the Security Council that it will agree to a three-month extension of the UNEF mandate.
