A resolution urging reparations for the Jews of Europe, because of the great sufferings they have undergone, has been presented to the executive committee of the UNCIO, it was learned here today.
In a letter to the executive committee, the Uruguyan delegation suggested that such a resolution be placed before the plenary session of the conference, so that all the delegates might have an opportunity to vote on it. At the same time, the representatives from Uruguay urged Secretary of State Stettinius to support the motion.
