The remains of an ancient synagogue dating back to the time of Philo, has been ###earthed on the Isle of Crete, Prof. Andreas, Greek archaeologist, stated here.The synagogue is believed to be 1,900 years old. Its alabaster walls contain inscriptions in Hebrew and Greek.
