The walls of the ancient Palestine fortress. Hazeor, a strategic fortification which played an important part in Joshua’s campaign for the conquest of Palestine were unearthed during the excavations carried on there.
The archaeologists are of the belied that the walls date back to the bronze age, and that the site known as EI Tell is the Hazeor mentioned in the Book of Joshua.
