Gradual diminution of unemployment among Jews in Palestine was reported here today. The total number presently unemployed is stated to be not more than 16,000. The number needing public assistance, however, is still comparatively large, estimated at 50,000.
Industrial activities have resumed throughout the country. Some factories are reported working on 24-hour shifts. There is no lack of raw materials.
