Considerable surprise has been manifested by the many Jewish delegates here for the International Cooperative Congress that none of the delegates have yet raised the question of the unfriendly treatment accorded to the Jewish cooperatives by the governments in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, particularly in Poland and Roumania.

While there are no delegates here from the Jewish cooperatives of Eastern Europe there are many Jewish delegates from other countries, among them M. Boradnewsky from the Argentine, and M. Sabarsky from Palestine.
