Delegates representing some 2,000 Orthodox communities and institutions attended the 50th anniversary of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America at a golden Jubilee convention held over the week-end at Yeshiva University here.
The delegates discussed a program of mobilizing the nation-wide resources of Orthodox Jewry. Palestine, synagogue activities, social problems, youth activities, Kashruth observance, Judaism in outlying communities and other problems were also considered during the two-day conference.
