At the invitation of the State of Israel, the Unitarian Service Committee and the World Health Organization of the United Nations will sponsor a joint medical teaching mission to Israel in September and October, it was announced today at international headquarters of the Unitarian Service Committee in Boston.
Fifteen European and American professors in the fields of clinical and pre-clinical medicine and public health will give lectures and demonstrations, make ward rounds, conduct round table and informal discussions, and act as consultants to various Israeli agencies. Dr. Leo N. Davidoff, distinguished American brain surgeon, who is clinical professor of neurosurgery at New York University Post-Graduate Medical School, will be chairman of the mission.
