The first motion picture drama ever to be produced for a nationwide campaign of the United Jewish Appeal, an intensely moving story of Israel’s immigrant camps, was released today by the U.J.A. for showing in communities throughout the country. The picture, entitled “Tent Gity,” was filmed in its entirety at the Beit Lid Reception Camp near Lydda and is played by a cast composed almost wholly of immigrants themselves.
