A United Kingdom-Israel convention to further cultural relations will be signed Tuesday. Signatories will be Minister of State at the Foreign Office Goronwy Roberts and Israel Ambassador Aharon Remez. The two countries will agree to exchange visits by university professors and others engaged in scholarly and scientific activity; scientists, research workers, technicians and graduate students will be involved. Each country will send representatives to study the other’s language and literature and strengthen cooperation between universities and other educational institutions in order to consider whether mutual recognition of various degrees could be made possible.
