The OSE World Union, Jewish health organisation, has been granted membership in the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, it was announced here today.
Through the consultative status which it thus received, the OSE will gain the opportunity of bringing to the attention of U. N. I. C. E. F. the specific requirements of Jewish children in various countries. Dr. L. Wulman, executive director of the American Committee of OSE, will represent the organization as its permanent delegate. An OSE delegation, headed by Dr. E. Minkowski, is now participating in the Conference on Education and Mental Health of Children in Europe, sponsored by the U. N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
