An appeal to the United Nations to extend immediate effective assistance to the thousands of Jewish and Polish children in occupied Poland was issued today in connection with the observance on Sep. 26 of a “day of protest” to bring to the attention of the world the massacre of tens of thousands of children by the Germans in Poland.
At a press conference here Prof. Kazimierz Grzybowsji, head of the Polish Information Bureau, stressed that Jewish children have been slaughtered to the same extent as non-Jewish. Dr. Henryk Rosmarin, Polish consul in Tel Aviv, said that thousands of Jewish youngsters were murdered in Radom, Bendin and other Polish cities.
