A united relief campaign for Polish Jewry was urged by representatives of the entire Polish-Jewish press at a conference today with leaders of the American Joint Distribution Committee. Small, separate campaigns were termed harmful.

Speakers praised work of the J.D.C. in Poland, but asserted the money assigned to relief purpose was inadequate.

Aid will be extended at once, it was disclosed, for Jews in townships where serious excesses have occurred recently.
