United Roumanian Jews to Issue Appeal

An immediate appeal to all affiliated organizations of the United Roumanian Jews of America to raise a fund for the relief of the 40,000 Jews in the famine stricken region of Bessarabia, was decided upon at a meeting of the Executive Committee.

A committee was appointed to ask Felix M. Warburg, and Louis Marshall, heads of the Joint Distribution Committee, for aid for the sufferings Jews of Bessarabia.
