The Western Pennsylvania regional branch of the United Synagogue of America will be formally organized at a meeting here November 18.
Representatives of congregations throughout the area will meet at the Tree of Life Synagogue to perfect the organization.
Pittsburgh congregations expected to send delegates to the meeting are Beth Israel, Beth Shalom, B’nai Israel, Shaarey Tefila and Tree of Life. Congregations outside the city which probably will be represented include Agudath Achim of McDonald; Beth Shalom. New Castle; House of Israel, Sharon; Temple Israel, Wheeling, W. Va.; Agudath Achim, Aliquippa; Jewish Congregation, Beaver Falls; Keneseth Israel, Monessen, and Agudatch Achim, Tyrone.
