Emory S. Bogardus, professor of sociology at the University of Southern California, today accepted a place in the research work of the National Conference of Jews and Christians of which Newton Baker, Professor Carleton Hayes and Roger Straus are co-chairmen. Prof Bogardus is well known for his research work in the Pacific Coast Race Relations Service. Simultaneously with Prof. Bogardus’s acceptance of a place on the National Conference it was announced that the department of sociology at the University of Southern California will study the cultural factors in religious prejudice against Jews.
