An effort to secure large-scale UNRRA aid for the surviving Jews of Europe is being made here by a delegation of the Hebrew Committee of National Liberation in connection with the session of the UNRRA Council. The delegation has conferred with numerous delegates of the participating nations.
In two communications addressed to F.T. Tsiang, chairman of the Council, the Hebrew Committee pointed out that despites specific resolutions adopted at the Second UNRRA meeting held in September, 1944 in Montreal, which made the Jews in Axis countries eligible for UNRRA relief, nothing has been done to date.
