All Jewish children and the parents whose children are affected by the scarlet fever epidemic were asked in a proclamation issued by the rabbinate of the city of Warsaw to refrain from attending services in synagogues during the coming High Holidays. The proclamation advises that temporary “minyanim” be arranged in the houses affected by the epidemic.
A special service for the welfare of the children was held in the Great Synagogue on Tlomackie. Dr. Schor officiated.
