A plea for support and cooperation of all community-minded Jews toward the $500,000 twenty-fifth anniversary campaign of the Brooklyn I ## of Jewish Charities was made by Kings County Judge Algeron I Nova, as the drive got under way last night at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway. Judge Nova heads the campaign.
It was announced that Mr. and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg have contributed $4,000, the Lawyers Club of the Federation $1,500 and the Homefurnishings Club of the Federation $1,000 to the drive. Major Benjamin H. Namm gave $1,000. The receipt of a check for $75 from Jacob Krisel, Brooklyn lawyer now in Shanghai, was acknowledged.
Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, president of the Federation, urged that the community be generous if the unfortunate of the borough are to avoid additional hardships.
