Joint local campaigns for all Jewish national and international purposes are urged by Dr. I. M. Rubinow in an article entitled “Let’s Organize” in the August-September issue of the B’nai Brith Magazine, which will appear August 15. Dr. Rubinow is secretary of the B’nai Brith, as well as an authority on Jewish social work, statistics and social insurance.
Pointing out the inevitable waste and inefficiency of the present methods of collecting money for Jewish causes, Dr. Rubinow declares in his article that one drive after another requires a large overhead, taxes the patience of individual givers and literally “kills the goose that lays the golden eggs,” and the result is chaos.
Dr. Rubinow himself has been conducting the campaign for the support of the B’nai Brith Hillel Foundation and other important activities connected with the Wider Scope campaign.
