Appropriation of #500,000 (About $2,500,000) from the idle surplus of the Palestine government for the prompt stabilization of Palestine banks, especially the smaller banking institutions, was urged today by Haaretz, Palestine daily newspaper.
A recent government report revealed the treasury surplus as #5,727,690 (about $28,000,000).
