M.M.Ussischskin, Director of the Jewish National Fund in Palestine arrived here today. A reception, the like of which has never been seen in Vilna was accorded to him. Thousands of Vilna Jews, headed by representatives of the Kehillah, Jewish Welfare institutions, Schools and the Boys Scout Organization, assembled at the station to greet him. An orchestre played “Hatikvah”. The house were decorated, flowers were strewn in the path of the delegates, and a parade, lasting for over two hours, marched through the streets. Perfect order was maintained by the Scouts and the police.
