The biggest portion of its $5,000 quota was subscribed at the dinner opening the Utica campaign of the United Jewish Appeal. Contributions totalled $3,200. Rabbi Milton Steinberg of the Park Avenue Synagogue, New York City, was the principal speaker. Julius Tumposky is chairman of the local drive, with Mrs. Myron Lewis chairman of the women’s division. Other campaign officers are Charles T. Sitrin, H. Myron Lewis, Horace Freedman, Rabbi S. Joshua Kohn and Dr. H. E. Kowalsky, chairman of special gifts.
