Uzi Landau withdrew from the race to lead Israel’s Likud Party. Landau, who had been trailing in polls leading up to this month’s party primary, announced he was quitting Monday and said he would support the frontrunner, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Also running are Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom and Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz.
