The Palestine government has verbally approved the educational budget of 87,000 pounds for Jewish schools, it was learned today. The budget was submitted by the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine.
On the basis of this approval, the Vaad Leumi is raising a loan suffierent to pay off to the teachers in the schools the three months salary due them from last year.
