Concentration of all its fund-raising forces toward the settlement of German Jews in Palestine was voted today by the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine. The Council will work with the Jewish Agency for Palestine and with Jewish organizations throughout the world toward this objective.
Restriction of immigration at this time was protested by the Vaad Leumi, which referred specifically to the government’s recent announcement that 850 of the scheduled 5,500 certificates for Jewish immigrants would be withheld.
