Premier Alexander Vaida Voevod in his address on government program delivered before Parliament today advocates a policy of friendship and conciliation with the national and religious minorities.

Premier Vaida Voevod specified, however, that the government would seek first to improve the condition of the peasantry before dealing with the needs of the industrial population. The Jews are included in the latter category.

The Jewish publication, “Agalitea,” states today that it learns the government is planning to submit to Parliament forthwith a bill aimed to curb the activities of the Anti-Semites and the Communists.
