Anti-Semitic and anti-Negro slogans were smeared by unknown vandals on the walls of the Palais Des Congress here yesterday just before the opening of a meeting by the movement against racism, anti-Semitism and xenophobia which marked the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on Human Rights. The meeting had on its agenda a Belgian draft bill against racism and xenophobia, and the ratification by Belgium of the U.N. convention against racial discrimination. The slogans on the walls of the building read, “death to Negroes,” “Jews go back to Israel” and bomb Hanoi.”
