An all-faiths service in commemoration of the Succoth, the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles, will be held at Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims, Orange and Hicks streets, Brooklyn, on Thursday evening, October 4, under the auspices of the World Fellowship of Faiths in cooperation with the Brooklyn Church and Mision Federation and the Inter-Faith Clergy Association.
Among those who will participate in the program are the Rev. Samuel Af Rafalowitz, Mohammedan clergy; the Rev. Herman F. Reissig, Congregational minister; Kedarnath Das Gupta, Hindu; the Rev. Thomas Haslam, Greek Orthodox priest; Deva Ram Sukul, Brahmin; the Rev. Martin Paul Luther, president Brooklyn Church and Mission Federation; the Rev. J. Stanley Durkee, pastor of Plymouth Church; Miss Rose Quong of China; Dr. John Howland Lathrop, minister of the Church of the Saviour; the Rev. Sokei-enn Sasaki, Buddhist priest of Japan; Rabbi B. Leon Hurwitz, president, Inter-Faith Clergy Association; Rabbi H. Pereira Mendes, Rabbi Emeritus, Spanish Portuguese Congregation of New York.
