The Pope yesterday gave an audience to Chief Rabbi Hevesy of Hungary. The chief rabbi complained of the aggrevated Jewish situation in Central Europe resulting from the increased agitation for race hatred which he described as contrary to the moral doctrines upheld by the Pope and the teachings of Christianity.
