Veteran journalist and one-time diplomat Dan Pattir has taken office as Premier Yitzhak Rabin’s advisor on press and media affairs. He will serve as spokesman to the Premier–taking over from Dr. Meron Medzini, head of the government press office in Jerusalem. Pattir, till now “Davar” political correspondent, served under Rabin as press attache at the Washington Embassy.
