Robert Rosenberg, county commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars warned Director of Public Safety Little that unless measures are taken to restrict the Friends of New Germany from making scurrilous statements at their meetings, he will gather a force of veterans and invade the sessions, which are, for the most part, held in the Town Hall here.
Commissioner Little has admitted that reports of speeches made at the Friends meetings bear evidence of inciting to riot and even to sedition and he cited as “exceedingly shocking” a number of remarks made against prominent Jews and non-Jews.
