WASHINGTON. HE WAS PRESENTED WITH A MEDAL BY HARRY SHAFFER, NATIONAL COMMANDER OF THE JEWISH WAR VETERANS, IN RECOGNITION OF “PROMOTING GOOD-WILL, AND PROVING THAT AMERICAN JEWS HAVE NO ILL-FEELING TOWARDS THE GERMAN PEOPLE.”
