The World Zionist Organization is doomed to failure unless Zionists outside of Israel create an organized movement completely independent of Israel, Dr. Sami Gronsman, veteran Zionist leader and president of the court of the World Zionist Congress, declared here today in an article in Yediot Aharonot.
Dr. Groneman advocated removal of the executive of the world Zionist movement and the World Zionist Congress from Israel. He urged that Israel Zionists be denied the right to vote in the World Zionist movement, but continue to be responsible for the purchase of shekels and membership in the organization. He suggested that the world movement concentrate on immigration to the Jewish state, cultural and educational activities and the creation of “rapprochement between foreign nations and Zionist vision.”
