The Jewish War Veterans of the United States were committed yesterday to undertake “an immediate, aggressive campaign of picketing Jewish merchants who continue to deal in Nazi merchandise.” This course was determined upon by unanimous vote at a meeting of the anti-Nazi boycott committee of the organization.
A statement issued by Edgar H. Burman, chairman of the boycott group, said:
“The committee feels that the methods used heretofore… have reached the height of their utility, and that from now on more militant methods of dealing with these merchants must be resorted to.”
