Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey will address the 1968 International Inaugural Conference for Israel Bonds to be held in Miami Feb. 29-March 3, it was announced today by Abraham Feinberg, president of the Israel Bond Organization.
Mr. Humphrey will speak at the inaugural dinner, Saturday evening, March 2nd, when Jewish leaders from all parts of the United States and Canada take part in opening this year’s Israel Bond drive to provide the major share of Israel’s Development Budget of $289 million for 1968. He will share the rostrum at the Inaugural Conference with General Itzhak Rabin, former Chief of Staff, who will make his first public appearance as Israel’s newly appointed Ambassador to the United States.
