Anti-Jewish propaganda is included in attacks by the Vichy radio against Gen. Charles de Gaulle, leader of the Free French forces.
One broadcast declared that “Jews and Freemasons followed de Gaulle to England, where they are more courageous before the microphone than on the battlefields.” Another broadcast accused “the Jew Geraud (Pertinax)” of asking the United States to withhold food ships for France.
Meanwhile, it was announced that the Vichy Government had appointed administrators for an additional 70 Jewish businesses.
