German housing officials have been crdered by American military government authorities to find adequate accommodations for persons who as a result of racial discrimination or confiscation of property are without homes. The order provides that property owned or occupied by former Nazis is to be turned over to such persons.
Elimination in the price, rent, rationing and distribution systems of all discriminatory measures based on race, creed, color or polities was also ordered. In addition, persons who are destitute as a result of acts committed by the Hitler regime will be given first priority in the issuance of ration cards.
