Victor Mitrani, leader of the Sephardic community of Mexico and a member of the World Jewish Congress executive, died here suddenly this week-end. One of the organizers of the Sephardic community in this country and its secretary-general for 15 years, Sr. Mitrani also served as vice-president of the Jewish Central Committee of Mexico, president of the United Campaign of the Sephardic Community of Mexico and president of the Mexican Association for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
