The return of intense anti-Semitic propaganda in Vienna, resembling that of the Lueger period, is threatened by the leaders of the Chrislich Soziale party.
The situation is a result of the party fight between the Chrislich Soziale and the Social Democrats which is now taking place in Vienna in connection with the forthcoming elections. The campaign of the Social democrats is mainly conducted by the leaders of the party who are Jewish and is directed chiefly against the Christlich Soziale. Herr Kunschak, leader of the Christlich Soziale declared that “the period of anti-Semitic propaganda during the time of Lueger, mayor of Vienna, will return if the Social Democrats’ campaign will continue.”
