Vienna Jewish Philanthropist Leaves Entire Estate to Charity

A sum ranging from fifteen to twenty billion kronen (approximately $300,000), constituting the entire estate of the late Jewish leather manufacturer, Albert Katscher, who died recently at the age of 87, was left for Jewish welfare purposes.

The Jewish Women’s League for Protection in Old Age, the Jewish Institute for the Blind, the Jewish Institute for the Deaf and Dumb and the Jewish Society for the Support of Orphans were the beneficiaries.
