A sentence of two weeks’ imprisonment was passed on Lebel Kadar, anti-Semitic journalist.
Kadar was brought up before the Criminal Court at Szegedin on a charge of incitement against the Jewish religious community in Hungary. Speaking at a public meeting he had said that the Jews had come to Hungary only in order to exploit the people of the country.
