The Nazi organization has cancelled its instructions to members to organize strolls through the various quarters of the city on Saturday, the first day of the Jewish New Year, to ascertain the proportion of shops closed because of the High Holy Days, it was announced today.
The cancellation is ascribed by the Nazi press to pressure from the authorities “who favor the Asiatic parasites.”
The strolls through the city were arranged by the Nazis to circumvent a police order prohibiting planned Nazi demonstrations around the Karlplatz or in the vicinity of the synagogues.
The Nazi press today attacks the postal authorities for reducing rates on the despatching of New Year’s greetings, particularly to the United States.
