Anti-Jewish rioting by nationalist German students including a number of Bavarians has resulted in the closing of the University here. The trouble started in the medical and law departments of the University where two Jewish professors, Tandler and Gruenburg, were lecturing, each in his own department.
A band of nationalist Germans suddenly invaded the lecture rooms, inflicting violent beatings on the astonished Jewish students, using foul language on the teachers.
