Viennese Conductor Heads Japanese National Orchestra

Announcement has been made here of the appointment of Josef Rosenstock, noted conductor, as music director of the Japanese National Orchestra in Tokyo. Mr. Rosenstock for a time was active in the Jewish Culture League in Germany.

Two other Jews, it was learned, are employed in the Japanese Music Conservatory in Tokyo–A. Pollack of Austria, and Leo Sirotta of Poland.
