A delegation of leading rabbis of Poland in addition to Chief Rabbi Kuk of Jerusalem will proceed to America shortly to raise funds for theorthodox schools, chadorim and yeshibaths of Vilna. The critical position of the Vilna schools necessitating an appeal to American Jewry was discussed at a conference of Rabbis at which the famous Chofetz Chaim of Radim was present. The aged rabbi, is, however, prevented from joining the delegation on account of his health, and the Rabbis Kalischer and Gradzensky will be the Vilna rabbis to go to America.
