Beginning Saturday evening the floor show and radio broadcasts from the Village Barn, 52 West 8th street, will sponsor programs arranged especially to usher in the 1934 baseball season. Anthony Trini and His Orchestra have planned a special musical series to be based around the ever popular “Take Me to the Baseball Game” and Beth Challis, mistress of ceremonies at the Village Barn, plans to introduce the baseball players of all metropolitan teams who are scheduled to visit the barn during the weekend just prior to the opening of the season on Tuesday.
