COMMUNICATION TO THE EDITOR
Sir:
I was very sorry to read that our Roumanian brethren are deprived of the benefit of the Jewish Bulletin. I am inclined to think that this mensure was-as the Jewish embargo in Pyra. (Greece) the mistake of an obscure official of the censure. The Roumanian Government which is striving to annul the influence of all fanatical factions and accustom the country to a liberal policy, would not bar a publication which enjoys the exteem of prominent American and foreign diplomats including His Excellency Cretziano himself.
Intelligent and well informed Roumanian statesmen know that many diplomats all over the world consider as a colossal blunder on the part of the authors of Versailles Treaty to have granted to Roumania the oppressor of minorities a territorial aggrandisement at the expen e of Hungary which was then known as one of the most liberal nations. The best test of a liberal government is its respect for the press.
