Visionists Appeal to United Nations Against Arrest of Palestine Leaders

The United Zionists-Revisionists, whose world headquarters are in Paris, today cabled the United Nations a protest against the mass arrests yesterday in Palestine of three Jewish mayors and a number of Revisionist leaders.

The cable requested "urgent intervention" on the part of the United Nations order "to prevent a further aggravation of the present conflict" in Palestine. pointed out that the arrests and the outlawing of the Revisionist Palestine youth ganization, Brith Trumpeldor, "constitute a new blatant manifestation of the British lice regime and a violation of the United Nations’ call for restraint during the UN, inquiry."

Dr. Moshe Sneh, member of the Jewish Agency executive, addressing a meeting alled by the French Zionist Federation, said "if Britain does not carry out the Balfour Declaration, Britain must quit Palestine." He pointed out that the British had circulated pamphlets among the refugees on the Exodus in which they promised to send ## to Cyprus.

After paying tribute to the heroism of the refugees on the ship, Dr. Sneh old the meeting, at which Andre Blumel presided, that the Jewish Agency was grateful the French Government, the National Assembly and the French people for their humane institude towards the Jews.
