Vladimir Goussinsky resigned as president of the umbrella Russian Jewish Congress. Goussinsky, currently under house arrest in Spain, said he resigned because of a “physical impossibility to fulfill my duties.” Goussinsky has been the target of an ongoing Kremlin campaign on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement relating to his media empire.
